The
students of Chimacum Middle School have been working on a project
that's called
Water Quality.
The point in this project is for understanding water and everything
that happens to the water. There are ten different groups, and they
each had an important job. Some
had
to check the speed of the water, some had to to see how much bacteria
was
in the water, and some even got to go into the water to do various things.
During the
process of learning, they had to go to 3 different places: Chimacum
Creek, Dewatto Bay, and Scenic Beach.
When
we were done testing, we went to Twanoh State Park, and met up with
a few other schools to tell each other what our results were when
we tested the water, and heard everyone else's testing results.
If
you look to the left of this page, those objects are buttons that
link you to one
of the groups jobs. There you will find out what each of the labels
mean, what they had to do with water quality, and any other bit of
information that
tells you about what they did. So if you want to learn about Benthic
Macroinvertabrates, do and ph probes 1 and 2, and so on and so forth,
click on the button that is labeled. .
