What is Dissolved Oxygen

Dissolved oxygen is one of the best indicators of the health of the water ecosystem. Dissolved oxygen can range from 0-18 parts per million(ppm). Dissolved oxygen is oxygen that is dissolved in water. Pollution can kill many different thing so if not enough oxygen gets into the water than there will be a bigger population of died fish than alive fish.
