Oxygen goes in water by being absorbed from the atmosphere or photosynthesis it is used for respiration from plants and animals.

Decreased dissolved oxygen levels can cause changes in number and type of macroinvertabrates, species that can't tolerate decreasing D.O levels, the worms and flies replace the species.

According to the weather time & temperature dissolved oxygen levels Can change, if comparisons are done they have to be the same season, time of day & within 10 degree Celsius temperature.
