The african plate is surrounded by other continents.

On our team map it shows that the Eurasian plate is coming down on our plate and on some other plates. Are .plate is expanding from our plate and the Eurasian plate.we dont have very many volcanoes on are plate and not very many earthquakes either. Some of the observations that our seismologist made were, that he noticed that there were earthquakes oEarth's techtonic plate movementn the edges and in the middle of the continental. The second thing that the seismologist saw was there are no earthquakes in Antartica, and most of the earthquakes are in clusters.the third thing that the seismologist noticed was that there is mostly all green and red colors on the map,and there is not alot of blue on the map,but there is alot of blue east of the map.the fourth observation that the seismologist made there is alot of of blue on the west of Africa in the range of 0 to 60 degrees.

Some of the volcanologist's observations are mostly all of the volcanoes are at the edges of the continents.the second observation the volcanologist has observed is they are mostly all in clusters. The third observation the vocanologist made was that there is only one volcano in australia. The fourth observation that the volcanologist made was that most of the clusters of volcanoes are in and by Eurasia and north america plus south america. The fifth observation the volcanologist made was that theres not very many volcanoes in the ocean.the sith observation that the volcanologist made was that there are barely any volcanoes down south by antartica.

Many of the observations that the Geologist made was that the lower end of africa has the highest elevations. The second observation that the Geologist made was there is only one area around 3000 feet above sea level, and in the northern end of Africa. The last observation that she made was that there is only spots of high elevation. When we asgined our jobs to each team member the geochronologist wasn't here so we didnt have a lot of observations about the plate in that section.

This is how we thought our plate was moving
