Volcanoes

Volcanoes are very cool, not litteraly of course. But there are many differnt kinds that we will be writing about.
Here are some of them:
A.#1 shield volcanoes
Shield volcanoes are formed by lava flows hardening on itself creating build up and layers.
#2 Cinder cone volcanoes
When there is slow stiff lava it hardens and builds up to creat a cone.
#3 Composite volcanoes
Compisite volcanoes are a mix of sheild and cone volcanoes. It is a tall cone volcanoe made up of layers.
B.#1 Lava plateaus
Instead of erupting lava flows out of cracks on the sides and runs down far again and again untill it creats a plateau.
#2 Calderas
When an eruption is so large it epties out the magma chamber hollowing out the volcanoe then caves in and the hole created by the collapse called the Calderas.
Besides diffrent kinds of volcanoes their are diffrent ways the lava flows.
C.#1 Explosive lava flows
Some lava flows fast, some flows slowly. Weather or not it flows slowly or fast is usally determaned by how much silaca is in the lava. If thier is much silaca in the lava it will flow slowly, harden and build up, causing the lava flow tostop so pressure builds. Once the pressure is to high the volcanoe explodes, thus that is how explosive volcanoes happen.
#2 Quiet Eruptions
Although Quiet eruptions do not explode, they can be much more dangerous. If their is little or no silaca in the lava it flows very fast. Fast flowing savais the kind that starts forest fires.
