Indian Australian Plate

Austrailia only has one volcano on the whole island, But on the whole plate there are quite a few. When India crashed into asia it had such speed that it created the hemilayan mountain ranges. Austrailia is moving north east because it is getting compressed. The Australian plate has many earthquakes on the northeast side, clustered in a line, witch means that the indian australian plate is moving north east. India is a sub continent because it hangs down from Asia like a sub continent. During pangea India and Austrailia were in the south east corner of the super continent.

The Idian-Australian Plate is surrounded by mostly water but land from the north.Australia is an island and surrounded by water but the plate underneath is still being pushed!!!

The pacific plate is moving west into the bottom of the Ausralian plate moving it up.The Australian plate is moving north, so with the combined force of the pacific plate and the Indian-Australian plate our plate is moving northeast
