This is a picture of Spirit Lake. The way down was very long, and steep. We needed a lot of water because it was very hot. But the way up was an even harder hike because, most of us were out of water, and it had got even hotter.

While we were at Spirit Lake we were unable to swim, touch or drink the water, because the water had some kind of bacteria in it from the Mt. Saint Helen's eruption. We were kind of mad we couldn't touch the water because we were all so tired, and hot.

While we were down at Spirit Lake we were enjoying the view, and we were resting, from the big hike down. Some kids were walking around on the logs, while others were throwing sticks in the water, and others building forts. There was also a little creek running into Spirit Lake.
