Jujubes
Jujubes were first came out some time before 1920. The jujube is an delicious
berry that grows in the tropics. But the name of the berry has nothing to
do with the the candy, which is more likely related to one of the basic ingredients
of both Jujubes, Jujyfruits, and ju-ju gum.
Jujyfruits were first made in 1920. Both were originally made by the Heide
Company which was started by German immigrant, Henry Heide in 1869. Today
they are made by the Hershey Company.
