A. an earthquake is made up of two or more plates that collide under and below the earth's surface . A measurement of earthquake is moniterd in the richter scale it is a machine device that checks the earthquake's magnitude and check the epicenter .

A If there is a series of earthquake's and fualts there usually are creveses in the surface of the earth . When a fault occurs there is usually a part where the earth cracks apart and compresses together usually the heaviest goes on the bottom and the lightest goes on the top because it will just slide over the heaviest .
