A volcano is a land mass that has been formed up from lava and other eruptions. Like a weak spot in the Earth's crust.
Magma was forced up and built the volcano up even more. When erupting it destroys itself and then rebuilds in silence.

This is Mt. Mayo De Poyon in Italy, Europe. *Volcano World*
Volcanoes are equally dangerous and mystifying. A volcano is a weak spot in the Earth's crust, where molten magma comes to the surface. Most volcanoes occur along diverging boundaries, like mid-oceanic ridges. Volcanoes produce ash and basalt, a kind of rock formed lava, like pumice.
A volcanoes eruption will hardly never give any warning. No eruption has hardly killed any people, many missing. But never found. During a volcano eruption, the gases dissolve hen the magma rushes out, carrying the rocks and magma with them.
*Vocabulary:*
Crater- The sometimes like bowl shape centre that holds lava, or is completely sealed up.
Vent- The place on the surface where the magma travels up the volcano and out, it is sometimes called the pipe.
Side Vent- Sometimes the magma forces its way out of a volcano through this vent in the sides of it.
Magma- Magma is very hot, molten material that also contains dissolved gases, even water vapour.
Lava- The other name for magma that has reached the Earth's surface.
*END Of Vocabulary*
A quiet eruption is when the magma flows out quietly. It is like ooze, and runny. Pahoehoe (pah HOH ee hoh ee) is very fast. It looks like ropes and string. Aa (Ah ah) is much slower and cooler than most lava. When it hardens it looks like rough, rouge, skin. Though it is gray.
A explosive eruption is - well - explosive. Most volcanoes erupt like this form. The gases push together, and the pressure greatness. It then erupts and destroys itself. Volcanic ash covers the ground surrounding the volcano. Larger rocks called 'bombs' are much larger and much more dangerous.
