Air Pressure info
What is Air Pressure?
Air gets pulled down by gravity just like everything else. Air pressure measures how hard gravity
is pulling down on air molecules.
How is it measured?
Air pressure is measured by mercury in millibars.
Scientists use Barometers to measure Air Pressure.

This is the Barometer we used.
What does this mean?
Since low Air Pressure can cause low temperatures,
and high Air Pressure can cause high temperatures,
if we have low Air Pressure,it can point toward cold
weather, and if we have high Air Pressure, it can point
toward warm temperatures. This can help to prove the accuracy
of our temperature readings, and help us to determine
the weather around chimacum creek.
