Introduction to Mosses

Ello, welcome to our site.We {Olivia, Katelyn, and Mel} have been identifying and
researching different types of mosses for a school project. Most nonvascular plants are classified as mosses.
They have green, leaflike growths arranged around a central stalk. Their rhizoids are made of many cells. Reproductive cells called spores are produced in the caps that grow from moss stalks.
At first, it was difficult to identify them, but we got the hang of it. So far, we have identified almost all of the mosses to the right. Click on the links to view pictures and information of each.
